GIAPPONE- una foto al giorno TOCHO, IL GOVERNO METROPOLITANO DI TOKYO

Arrivare a questo immenso edificio non è stato facile.
Già i rapporti con la stazione di Shinjuku erano complicati..se ci aggiungiamo uno sdoppiamento simmetrico dei negozi..
Ma è meglio partire dall'inizio..ossia da quando ho consultato la cartina per capire come meglio arrivare al piano panoramico dell'edificio più alto del quartiere di Shinjuku.
Prendendo a riferimento due negozi già visti prima, ero sicura di poter trovare facilmente la strada... talmente sicura che, fatto quasi un chilometro, ancora ero convinta fosse la direzione giusta..
Messo da parte l'orgoglio decido quindi di tornare indietro, rientrando nella stazione..e cosa scopro???
che gli stessi due negozi esistono simmetricamente dall'altro lato della stazione...e che l'edificio che cerco era nella direzione opposta a quella in cui stavo andando... ù_ù

Grandi controlli per salire, e pure un po' di remore, visto il tono dell'entrata... Ma si arriva facilmente all'ultimo piano e lo spettacolo è impressionante! Milioni e milioni di lucine che si stendono su tutta Tokyo...

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (東京都庁舎, Tōkyō Tochōsha), also referred to as Tokyo City Hall or Tochō (都庁) for short, houses the headquarters of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, which governs not only the 23 wards, but also the cities, towns and villages that make up Tokyo as a whole.
Located in Shinjuku, it held the title of the tallest building (by roof height) in Tokyo, at 243 meters (799 feet), from 1991 to late 2006. The two top-floor panoramic observation decks are free of charge to the public and contain many gift shops. They are open till 11 pm on weekdays.
